What we do
Getting you back into the car
Most car lockouts are the same story: the keys left inside while unloading, a boot that shut on them, a door locked from inside by a child. The car is opened with purpose-made tools, without forcing the lock or breaking a window, and handed back to you with your keys.
It works on most private cars, and on the cars people hire for the week. With a hire car, check with the rental company first; see the questions below.

What we do not do
Car keys are a different trade
None of the following is offered, for cars, motorbikes, scooters or vans. If you need one of them, a dealer or a car-key specialist is the right call, and we will gladly tell you so on the phone rather than make the trip.
- Cutting, copying or duplicating keys of any kind
- Spare keys for homes, gates, garages, mailboxes or padlocks
- Car keys: no cutting, supplying, replacing or programming
- Transponder chips and vehicle remote controls
- Ignition barrels and ignition switches
- Keys for motorbikes, scooters or vans

Beach car parks, urbanisations and the coast road
Cars get locked where people stop in a hurry: at the beaches of Playa Lisa and Gran Playa, by the port where the boats leave for Tabarca, outside a bungalow in Gran Alacant while the shopping comes in, or on the stretch of coast between Arenales del Sol and La Marina. All of it is covered, day and night, as the list of places we drive to shows.

Locked cars, hire cars and lost keys
My keys are locked inside a hire car. Should I call you or the hire company?
Ring the hire company first: their contract may require them to send their own assistance, or to approve anyone else. If they tell you to arrange it yourself, we can open the car.
Will opening the car set off the alarm or damage the door?
The door is opened with tools made for it, without forcing the lock or the window. The alarm may sound when the door opens; it stops with your key, which is now within reach.
I have lost the car key altogether. Can you help?
Not with the key itself. We do not make, supply, cut or program car keys. If the car needs opening to get your belongings or papers out, that we can do; for a new key, a main dealer or a specialist in car keys is the right call.
What will you ask to see before opening the car?
Something that ties you to the car: the registration document, the hire agreement or the insurance, which are often inside, so they are checked as soon as the door is open, together with your ID.
